This role requires a professional with strong financial acumen, analytical rigor, and structured problem-solving skills who can translate strategy into execution while strengthening operational performance and supporting the Group’s long-term growth objectives. As the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, you will act as a strategic partner to the Group CEO, ensuring that the company's strategic priorities are shaped and executed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the Group CEO in shaping and executing the company’s strategic priorities.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate operational performance across the business to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Process Improvement: Lead initiatives aimed at improving business processes, operational workflows, and cost efficiency.
Analytical Insights: Provide analytical insights and financial analysis to support business planning and operational decisions.
Project Leadership: Lead strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives as directed by the Group CEO.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior management to ensure alignment of strategy and operations.
Key Qualifications
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Certification: Mandatory professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent.
Professional Experience: 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in Big 4 Advisory (Strategy, Deals Advisory, Performance Improvement, or Consulting), or demonstrated experience advising organizations on strategy formulation and execution.
Preferred Qualifications: An MBA is considered an added advantage.
Legal Expertise: Knowledge or experience with commercial contracts is an added advantage.
