Job Description
The Part-Time Dentist at Penda Health will provide high-quality dental care and promote oral health among patients. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a range of oral health conditions while ensuring exceptional patient experience and adherence to clinical standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop effective treatment plans.
Perform a range of clinical dental procedures to restore and maintain oral health.
Provide patient-centered education on preventive care and oral hygiene.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and ethical dental care.
Ensure compliance with infection control, regulatory, and quality standards.
Stay current with advancements in dental techniques and practices.
Mentor and support junior dental staff to foster professional growth.
Contribute to community outreach and initiatives that promote oral health awareness.
Requirements
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and practicing license with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB).
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a dental practice.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
Strong organizational, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
Demonstrated commitment to professional growth, ethical practice, and patient safety.
