The Garissa County Public Service Board is seeking qualified Kenyan citizens for the position of Dental Technologist III (2 Posts) under Reference REF: GCPSB/HEALTH/2026/08/12.
Role Overview
As a Dental Technologist III, you will be responsible for executing technical dental laboratory procedures, fabricating dental appliances and prostheses according to prescriptions, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting quality oral health care delivery within Garissa County.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and repair dental prostheses, including full/partial dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances.
Process dental impressions, cast models, and design custom dental appliances.
Maintain and calibrate specialized dental laboratory equipment and instruments.
Ensure high standards of safety, infection control, and hygiene within the laboratory environment.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, material inventory, and patient dental fabrications.
Requirements for Appointment
Must be a Kenyan Citizen.
Holder of a Diploma in Dental Technology from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) or any other recognized training institution.
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of C (plain) and above or its equivalent.
Certificate of Registration from the Kenya Dental Technologist Association (KDTA).
At least three (3) years of experience in a relevant field.
Computer literate.
