Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with medical councils, health regulators, and accreditation agencies.
• Ensure quality clinical teaching and training in collaboration with teaching hospitals and health facilities.
• Manage academic staff, clinical instructors, and administrative personnel.
• Manage School budgets, facilities, laboratories, and clinical training resources.
• Oversee student welfare, discipline, and professional conduct.
• Oversee the development, delivery, and accreditation of medical and health sciences programs.
• Promote research, innovation, and ethical medical practice.
• Strengthen partnerships with hospitals, government agencies, and international institutions.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 10 years’ experience in medical education and practice, with leadership experience.
• Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent) and a PhD or recognized postgraduate medical qualification.
• Registered medical practitioner in good standing.
