Job Description
The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) is seeking Data Collection Enumerators for a research study in Tharaka Nithi. The positions are ideal for individuals with a background in cooperative business, community development, or related fields. Successful candidates will undergo a training program before commencing field data collection.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in enumerator training sessions scheduled for the second week of June 2026.
Conduct field-level data collection in designated study areas using smart phones or tablets.
Ensure accurate and high-quality recording of survey responses.
Coordinate and communicate with study supervisors on progress and challenges.
Requirements and Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cooperative Business, Community Development, Disaster Risk Management, Sustainable Development or related disciplines from The Co-operative University of Kenya.
Be a resident of Tharaka Nithi.
Possess either a smart phone or a tablet.
Be fluent in the dominant language spoken in Tharaka Nithi.
Be available for the entire training and data collection period.
Having served as an enumerator before is an added advantage.
