Job Description
The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to serve as Data Collection Enumerators in Embu county for the PO Strengthening Project. This is a temporary field-based role involving data collection, training, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Participate fully in the enumerator training scheduled for the second week of June 2026.
Conduct field data collection within Embu county using mobile devices (smartphones or tablets).
Ensure accurate, timely, and complete collection and submission of data.
Communicate effectively with local community members and respondents in the local language.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cooperative Business, Community Development, Disaster Risk Management, Sustainable Development, or related disciplines from The Co-operative University of Kenya.
Must be a resident of Embu county.
Must possess a functional smartphone or a tablet for data collection.
Must be fluent in the dominant language spoken in Embu county.
Must be available for the entire training and data collection period.
Prior experience serving as an enumerator is an added advantage.
Assignment Period
Enumerator training will be conducted in the second week of June 2026, and data collection will commence immediately thereafter.
