About the Role
The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to serve as Data Collection Enumerators in Thika. This position is vital for the successful execution of field research and data gathering, supporting the PO Strengthening Project.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Participate in a comprehensive enumerator training session scheduled for the second week of June 2026.
Conduct field-based data collection within designated areas in Thika using mobile devices (smartphones/tablets).
Ensure accurate, ethical, and complete entry of survey responses.
Engage with community members and project stakeholders respectfully and professionally.
Submit compiled data within specified timelines to the research supervisors.
Requirements and Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cooperative Business, Community Development, Disaster Risk Management, Sustainable Development, or related disciplines from The Co-operative University of Kenya.
Be a resident of one of the study counties (Kiambu/Thika).
Possess either a functional smartphone or tablet for mobile data collection.
Be fluent in the dominant language spoken in the study area.
Be available for the entire duration of training and field data collection.
Prior experience serving as an enumerator is highly advantageous.
