Job Description
The Cyber Transformation Lead is an Associate Director-level role responsible for converting KPMG's Microsoft Security and Cyber alliance pipeline into signed, revenue-generating engagements across Africa. This role combines senior client-facing presence with deep cybersecurity transformation expertise, owning the end-to-end pursuit and delivery of cybersecurity mandates including SOC deployments, Identity and Access Management (IAM) programmes, Zero Trust architectures, and cyber resilience frameworks. The role is a primary revenue contributor, personally accountable for alliance-attributed cyber revenue and acting as the senior KPMG face to Microsoft's security partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Convert KPMG's Microsoft Security and Cyber alliance pipeline into signed, delivering, revenue-generating engagements across Africa.
Lead the end-to-end pursuit and delivery of cybersecurity mandates, including SOC deployments, IAM programmes, Zero Trust architectures, and cyber resilience frameworks.
Act as a primary revenue contributor, taking accountability for alliance-attributed cyber revenue.
Represent KPMG as the senior lead within the Microsoft security partner ecosystem.
Provide senior client-facing advisory and consulting on complex cybersecurity transformation projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.
CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification is required.
Microsoft Security certifications (SC-100, SC-200 or equivalent) are strongly preferred.
Minimum 12 years of experience in cybersecurity.
At least 5 years in a client-facing consulting or advisory role.
Proven experience delivering cybersecurity transformation programmes (SOC, IAM, Zero Trust, Cyber Resilience) for major enterprise or government clients in Africa.
Demonstrated track record of working within Microsoft's partner ecosystem to originate and deliver cyber solutions.
