Africa Safari Trips offers the most extensive range of private safari trips in East Africa. We are looking for a Customer Satisfaction Agent / Sales Support professional to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring our guests leave Africa with unforgettable memories by providing exceptional support throughout their journey. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker capable of managing on-the-ground inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Emergency Support: Be available 24/7 during customer travel to provide immediate assistance.
Ground Inquiries: Manage safari bookings and verify payments made on the ground.
Complaint Resolution: Collaborate with relevant departments, including the reservations and transport teams, to resolve safari-related complaints.
Procedures and Escalation: Follow established procedures for issue resolution and meet with customers in person for major issue resolution.
Refunds: Process and handle refunds to customers as approved and directed by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Degree or Diploma in travel and tourism management, hospitality, or similar relevant education.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar customer service or sales support role within the tourism industry.
Excellent knowledge of the tourism industry and current trends.
Extensive knowledge of major safari destinations in Kenya.
Strong communication skills with high proficiency in English.
Proficiency in speaking either French or Spanish is a mandatory requirement.
Critical thinker and effective problem solver.
