Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) is seeking a Creative Arts-Social Studies Junior School Teacher. The primary purpose of this role is to create a flexible elementary grade program and a classroom environment that favors learning and personal growth, aiming to develop strong, ethical, community-centered female leaders of tomorrow.\n\n### Key Responsibilities and Job Dimensions\n- Teach Creative Arts, Social Studies, and by extension Physical Health Education or any other Learning Area to both Upper Primary and Junior School students.\n- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to the needs of each student.\n- Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum.\n- Create and use a variety of instruction strategies and translate lesson plans into learning experiences.\n- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior for a functional learning atmosphere.\n- Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, prepare progress reports, and keep records.\n- Communicate with parents on students’ progress and interpret the school program.\n- Coordinate with other staff members to help students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.\n- Maintain required inventory records and requisition books or instructional aids.\n- Supervise and support students in and out-of-classroom activities.\n- Set and administer quality tests in accordance with school and national testing programs.\n- Participate in curriculum development, faculty committees, and sponsorship of student activities.\n- Attend remedial classes and offer pastoral care to students.\n- Support new teachers and guide learners with learning differences or behavioral challenges.\n- Ensure the safety and security of all children.\n\n### Job Competencies\n\n- P1 or Diploma or Degree in Education or any related field.\n- Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).\n\n\n- Articulating information and adopting practical approaches.\n- Providing insights and taking action.\n\n\n- Establishing rapport and valuing individuals.\n- Inviting feedback and understanding people.\n\n### Experience Level\n- This is an Entry-level position (0-1 yr experience).\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested applicants should send their applications together with a detailed CV to .
