COP Certified Insurance Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Identify client needs and develop customized risk management solutions.
• Promote and sell a comprehensive range of insurance products to diverse client segments.
• Provide expert financial advice to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Negotiate contracts and execute effective sales strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification: Industry experience with a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in insurance is highly desirable/required.
• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of insurance sales, contract negotiation, and sales strategy.
• Sector Experience: Previous experience in a regulated sector such as law enforcement (including familiarity with criminal investigations, evidence collection, or police officer diligence) is considered an advantage.
• Core Competencies: Strong communication, analytical skills for customer needs analysis, and client relationship management skills.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
