Role Overview
The Control Tower Analyst – Supply Chain is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on supply chain operations. The role involves tracking key performance indicators, identifying operational risks, generating actionable insights for process improvement, and integrating telematics data into performance dashboards to ensure seamless inbound and outbound operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on inbound and outbound Control Tower activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- KPI Monitoring: Track performance indicators such as delivery conformance, Turnaround Time (TAT), order fulfillment, and route deviations.
- Risk Identification: Highlight operational risks (delays, non-conformance, route deviations) and escalate appropriately.
- Insights Generation: Use analytics to recommend process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost optimization.
- Telematics Integration: Consolidate GPS and telematics data for reporting and performance dashboards.
- Collaboration: Support inbound/outbound trackers with insights and consolidated reports for client updates.
- Data Visualization: Develop dashboards for live monitoring of operational KPIs.
- Compliance & Transparency: Ensure reporting aligns with client requirements and is fully auditable.
Data Presentation & Development
- Present data analysis findings to project teams or clients as needed, clearly communicating insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with the Data Processing Manager to train junior data processing staff on statistical methods and the generation of insights from data.
- Ensure that data analysis processes are properly documented to improve transparency and serve as a reference for future projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a Supply Chain-related field (an advanced degree is preferred).
- Advanced training in data analytics preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in supply chain/logistics.
- Good knowledge of IT and computer systems.
- Proven experience in data analysis, including the use of statistical methods and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of data processing and data migration techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
