This role involves managing compressors, dryers, receivers, and associated equipment to ensure the reliable delivery of compressed air to supported systems and operations. The operator supports continuous, mission-critical infrastructure operations in a remote, team-oriented environment.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Start, stop, and monitor compressors, dryers, receivers, and associated equipment.\n- Conduct routine inspections, monitor system pressures and performance indicators, and record operational data accurately in logs and reports.\n- Identify abnormal conditions, respond to alarms, and notify maintenance or supervisory personnel of system irregularities in accordance with established procedures.\n- Perform housekeeping and preventive maintenance tasks, assist with minor troubleshooting, and support system testing.\n- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational protocols, including the Amentum Quality System and safety culture initiatives.\n- Read, understand, and implement the specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans and procedures pertaining to the job.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- 1–3 years of experience operating or supporting compressed air systems, industrial equipment, or utility systems.\n- High school diploma or equivalent. Qualification as a Diploma holder or NCE is preferred.\n- Basic knowledge of compressors, mechanical systems, and equipment monitoring. Ability to read gauges, meters, and basic technical documentation.\n- Willingness to work rotating shifts or on-call schedules as required.\n- Must possess a valid passport (valid for at least one year beyond hire date) and be able to travel internationally.\n- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and obtain/maintain necessary facility credentials and authorization.\n\n### Preferred Qualifications\n- Previous experience working in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.\n- Experience supporting Navy, DoD, or industrial utility operations.\n- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.\n- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.\n- Valid country driver’s license.\n- Ability to obtain country-specific visa(s) in accordance with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Amentum careers portal at .
