Job Description
Cascade Restaurants, the home for Urban and Continental dishes now open at Tatu City, is seeking a professional and reliable Company Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles in strict accordance with established policies, ensuring the safe transport of passengers and goods, and maintaining high standards of vehicle care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation: Drive company vehicles as authorized for business purposes.
Maintenance Checks: Perform routine inspections and daily checks on vehicles/motorcycles to ensure they are in optimal condition.
Technical Reporting: Promptly detect and report any malfunctions or mechanical issues within the vehicle's systems.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs and records for vehicles/motorcycles.
Safety & Security: Ensure the security and safety of the vehicle and motorcycles at all times.
Passenger & Cargo Safety: Oversee the safe transport of passengers and the integrity of goods being delivered.
Vehicle Hygiene: Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle or motorcycle.
Legal Compliance: Strictly adhere to and observe all national traffic laws and regulations.
Incident Management: Immediately report any accidents or incidents to the police and the office as they occur.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a Mean Grade of D+ or equivalent.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a driver.
Licensing: Must possess a valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) License (Driver).
Clean Record: A valid Driving License free from any current endorsements, applicable to the classes of vehicles required for the role.
Industry Knowledge: Vast knowledge in Hospitality Management or a related field is considered an added advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a flexible schedule.
Soft Skills: Ability to take instructions clearly and work reliably under minimal supervision.
