Job Description
The Community Liaison Office (CLO) Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing a program based on community demographics and post-specific needs. The development and implementation of this program have a direct impact on post morale and affect overall work performance, productivity, retention, community spirit, and individual and family well-being in a foreign environment.
Responsibilities
Program Development: Develop and manage community programs based on demographics and specific needs of the post.
Impact Management: Implement programs that directly influence post morale, productivity, and the well-being of individuals and families.
Evaluation and Analysis: Develop evaluation criteria and conduct periodic surveys (formal and informal) to assess program efficacy.
Strategic Planning: Based on survey analysis, develop and implement long-range program plans with defined goals to maintain and enhance community morale.
Liaison Duties: Support areas such as employment liaison, education liaison, crisis management, and security liaison.
Compliance: Ensure programs align with USG and Department of State (DOS) regulations and policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of professional work experience is required.
Supervisory Experience: At least six (6) months of experience in a supervisory role is required.
Education: Completion of Secondary school is required.
Job Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pertinent DOS regulations, programs, and policies, as well as host-country laws, practices, and customs. Expertise in employment and education liaison, crisis management, and security protocols is critical.
