
Water Resources Authority
The Water Resources Authority (WRA) is the lead agency in the Management of Water Resources in Kenya. As a lead agency, WRA has a vital role to regulate, manage and equitably allocate the national water resources to all users.
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. The cadre is responsible for engagement with communities through Water Resource Users Association (WRUA) and Basin Water resource Committees to mobilize resources and enter into strategic partnerships for Water Resources Regulation and Management.
For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:
Successful candidates will serve for a probationary period of six (6) months thereafter convert to Permanent and Pensionable Terms of Service. Remuneration will be subject to the existing terms approved by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
