Role Overview
This role is ideal for a commercially strategic and results-oriented professional with extensive experience in clearing & forwarding, logistics sales, and revenue growth management. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading sales initiatives and managing the full commercial lifecycle to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth: Driving revenue growth and securing new business opportunities.
Account Management: Managing strategic client accounts and commercial targets.
Team Leadership: Leading and developing the sales team to ensure performance excellence.
Sales Cycle Management: Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-closing activities.
Reporting & Insights: Delivering market insights and commercial performance reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics/shipping sales management.
Proven Track Record: Success in meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of clearing & forwarding operations.
Core Skills: Strong negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills.
Remuneration
Salary: Ksh. 270,000
