Standard Bank Group is the largest African banking group by assets offering a full range of banking and related financial services. This role is responsible for setting up, implementing, driving, and continuously improving portfolio management & optimisation, business intelligence, reporting, actionable intel, quantitative research & insights, and data management for Personal Banking. It provides strategic direction to the Personal Banking segment on portfolio profitability principles & practices, client pricing, and client commercialisation.
You will collaborate with Personal Bank teams in Kenya to define, analyse and optimize segment value propositions for implementation to deliver on financial and non-financial objectives. Additionally, you will facilitate the integration of segment value propositions and client experience requirements across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and drive portfolio management and optimization strategies.
Oversee business intelligence, reporting, and actionable intel for the Personal Banking segment.
Conduct quantitative research and data management to provide actionable insights.
Provide guidance on portfolio profitability principles and practices.
Manage client pricing and commercialisation strategies.
Collaborate with local teams to define and refine segment value propositions for the Kenyan market.
Ensure integration of client experience (CEM) requirements into segment value propositions.
Requirements
Education: A First Degree in Business Commerce, Mathematical Sciences, or any other related field.
Experience: 8-10 years of relevant professional experience.
Industry Background: Experience within the financial services sector is required.
CVP Expertise: Proven experience in the development and enablement of Client Value Propositions (CVPs).
Behavioural Economics: In-depth understanding of behavioural economics and its practical application in business.
Customer Experience: Deep understanding of CEM principles and experience in implementing Client Experience Transformation plans.
Analytics: Experience developing analytical applications and applying insights to client base management (entrenchment, retention, and optimization).
Data Management: Proficiency in data management practices.
