Job Description
Nakuru County Government is seeking to recruit 18 Clerical Officers II (Revenue Clerks) to support its administrative and financial operations. This role involves maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and ensuring efficient office management within the county's revenue department.
Responsibilities
Collecting and maintaining statistical records.
Carrying out transactions related to accounts or personnel information.
Filing and organizing receipts and other financial documents.
Receiving, filing, and dispatching official correspondence.
Preparing Pay Change Advices (PCAs).
Preparing initial documentation for the issuance of stores.
Performing office tasks such as photocopying and scanning of documents.
Monitoring and checking general office cleanliness.
Indexing documents and records for easy retrieval.
Ensuring the safe custody of equipment, documents, and records.
Requirements
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (Minus) or its approved equivalent.
Proficiency in computer applications or Information Communication Technology (ICT).
A certificate in any accounting or financial training will be considered an added advantage.
