Role Overview
The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) is a civilian oversight body established to provide oversight over the National Police Service in Kenya. The Clerical Officer II is responsible for providing general clerical services across various directorates and departments to ensure efficient administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Record Keeping: Compiling and maintaining accurate statistical records to ensure data integrity.
Data Management: Processing data and information within the designated area of deployment.
Filing and Archiving: Maintaining an efficient filing system and ensuring the safe custody of files, materials, and other institutional records.
Reporting: Collecting and collating data to facilitate the compilation of comprehensive reports.
Risk Management: Implementing risk mitigation measures within the clerical scope.
Planning: Developing and implementing individual work plans to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a mean grade of C- (Minus) or its equivalent qualification.
Professional Certification: Must have passed the proficiency examination for Clerical Officers.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications.
