Claims Officer

Role Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring all services rendered are billed, revenue is recognized, and customer accounts are reconciled. The Claims Officer supports the Administration by performing routine accounting tasks such as processing invoices, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all services rendered are accurately billed and revenue is recognized.
• Perform customer account reconciliations.
• Handle routine accounting tasks, including the processing of invoices.
• Maintain and update financial records.
• Assist the administration with periodic financial reporting.
• Utilize hospital billing systems and Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) to track and manage billing data.

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional Certification: CPA Part Two.
• Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant working experience.
• Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
• Certifications: Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in computer skills, especially in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
• Soft Skills: Keen attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work with hospital billing systems, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
