Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high culinary standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment, ensuring exceptional food quality and service consistency.
Responsibilities
Culinary Excellence: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within a specific specialty section of the kitchen.
Operations Management: Assist in food preparation, portion control, and monitoring food costs to maintain profitability.
Service Delivery: Efficiently handle à la carte service and ensure dishes are delivered according to established standards.
Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Efficiency: Maintain composure and productivity during busy service periods and under high-pressure situations.
Compliance: Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed in the kitchen.
Requirements
Education: Must possess a Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
Technical Skills: Proven expertise in food preparation, portion control, and costing techniques.
Service Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing à la carte service.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities and excellent teamwork skills.
Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
