Certified Welder (Aluminum and TIG Welding)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using approved welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, ARC, and Gas Welding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions accurately.
• Prepare materials and equipment before welding (cutting, cleaning, positioning, and measuring).
• Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.
• Inspect completed welds to confirm strength, accuracy, and alignment.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Report faults, defects, or safety risks to the supervisor immediately.
• Work collaboratively with fabricators, technicians, and supervisors to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Welder with a recognized welding certification.
• Certificate or Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant welding experience.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of different welding methods and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work effectively in a workshop/industrial environment.
