The National Youth Service (NYS) is seeking to recruit 3 Cadet Officers to serve as Quantity Surveyors. This is a permanent and pensionable position within a premier agency focused on youth empowerment. Successful candidates will be responsible for technical quantity surveying and land surveying duties and must be prepared to undergo rigorous paramilitary training.

General Requirements
Be a Kenyan citizen.
Be in possession of a valid Kenyan National Identity Card (ID) and KRA PIN Certificate.
Be between 18 – 28 years of age.
Have no criminal record.
Candidates must be medically fit.
Successful candidates MUST undergo NYS Paramilitary training for nine (9) months at NYS Training College.
Must possess a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Land Surveying from a recognized institution.
Must have a minimum KCSE grade of C+ (plus).
Must be registered by the Land/Quantity Surveyor’s Board of Kenya.
