The role is centered on maintaining the high aesthetic and functional standards of the hotel's wooden structures and fixtures to ensure a premium experience for international travelers.
Role Overview
As a Carpenter at MGM Muthu Hotel, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of various wooden components within the hotel premises. This includes furniture, cabinetry, doors, and other structural woodwork. Your work contributes directly to the luxury environment and guest satisfaction by ensuring all facilities are kept in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
Perform general carpentry maintenance and repairs across the hotel facility.
Inspect, repair, or replace wooden fixtures including doors, window frames, and furniture.
Work on cabinetry and specialized woodwork to maintain the hotel's luxury standards.
Ensure all carpentry tasks are completed with high precision and attention to detail.
Maintain and safely operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to address facility needs promptly.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a BA, BSc, or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
Demonstrated experience as a carpenter, preferably in the hospitality or high-end building sector.
Proficiency in using standard carpentry tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work effectively within a professional maintenance team.
