Role Overview\n\nAmentum is seeking a Cable and Antenna Systems Specialist to manage the maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation of antenna systems and associated hardware. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and effective operations of critical communications systems, including high frequency (HF) and very high-frequency (VHF) systems. This role requires working at heights on antenna structures and adhering to rigorous safety standards, particularly concerning Radio Frequency (RF) hazards.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, and repair of various antenna systems and associated hardware.\n* Utilize specialized erection equipment and tools to assemble and install antenna systems and outside plant equipment.\n* Identify and resolve issues with non-functional components such as cables, reflectors, waveguides, and other related equipment.\n* Follow standard safety procedures and best practices for handling RF systems and hazards, including working aloft on antenna structures.\n* Maintain precise records of all maintenance activities and submit technical reports detailing job progress and challenges.\n* Participate in RF hazard/safety training and ensure all work complies with the Antenna Maintenance – High Frequency Manual guidelines.\n* Evaluate tool and material requirements for procurement and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n\n* A minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintaining and working on antennas and their components.\n* High school diploma or equivalent (KCSE).\n* Proficiency or aptitude in operating erection equipment and a working knowledge of outside plant equipment and antenna systems.\n* Must be medically fit to work aloft on antenna structures and pass contract-specific medical evaluations.\n* Must possess a valid passport (valid for at least one year) and be available for international travel.\n* Ability to obtain and maintain necessary facility credentials and authorizations.\n\n### How to Apply\n\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online through the Amentum careers portal at .
