Business Development Officer

The role of the Business Development Officer is critical for expanding the reach and revenue of Equity Afia clinics. This position focuses on identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, cultivating essential strategic partnerships, and increasing patient footfall across the clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives necessary to drive robust revenue growth in the highly competitive healthcare environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration/sales & marketing, or related field.
• At least three (3) years’ working experience in a similar role.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within the healthcare industry (Hospitals, Pharmaceutical, and Insurance experience is an added advantage).

• Proven track record of meeting sales or expansion targets.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, products, and services.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly experience with Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
