Jubilee Insurance is looking for a Business Analyst to join its team. Established in 1937, Jubilee Insurance has grown to become the largest composite insurer in East Africa, handling Life, Pensions, General, and Medical insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on process optimization, requirements analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conducting detailed requirements analysis and documenting business processes.
Identifying opportunities for business process improvement and automation.
Leveraging data analytics for report automation and the creation of business dashboards.
Developing predictive models to assist in business forecasting and strategic planning.
Operating within complex, regulated environments, ensuring all processes align with industry standards.
Engaging with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet operational requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Commerce, Finance, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience specifically within the health insurance industry.
Requirements Analysis: Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and process documentation.
Data Analytics: Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, including report automation, dashboard development, and predictive modeling.
Regulatory Knowledge: Experience operating in complex, regulated environments with a focus on operational management and stakeholder engagement.
