Roles & Responsibilities
Business Growth
Market Dominance: Entrench growth by market dominance and market share multiplication.
Budget Management: Ensure that the overall budget of the Business Office is met and surpassed.
Market Intelligence: Keep up to date with business environment information with the objective of identifying business opportunities and maximizing them.
Networking: Network with all potential clients in all relevant categories of own locality.
Profitability Management
P&L Ownership: Overall owner of the P&L of the branch, managing human and material resources optimally to achieve sustainable profitability.
Coverage Maximization: Drive business segments within the branch to ensure maximization of coverage in the locality.
Wallet Share: Develop and manage strategies to increase the share of wallet for all customer types within the locality.
Branch Operations & Leadership
Operational Responsibility: Oversee Market Facing & Customer Service functions for the Business Office.
Service Excellence: Ensure effective Customer Service Delivery and Experience across all touchpoints in the branch.
Brand Management: Responsible for brand and ambience management within the branch.
Compliance: Ensure that the Bank’s and Regulatory Authorities’ policies and guidelines are complied with at all times.
Team Leadership: Direct and coach the branch team while instituting and driving a learning culture.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achieve the approved Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the branch.
Requirements
Qualifications
First degree in any field from a recognized university.
A second degree or relevant professional certification is considered an added advantage.
Experience
Five (5) years of primary banking experience in sales or operations.
At least 2 years of secondary banking experience in retail/commercial banking or branch operations with a leading industry player.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
High energy, drive, and passion for business development and acquisition.
Technologically savvy.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate customer needs.
Excellent relationship management, networking, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude.
