As a Blister Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring blister packaging machines within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient packaging of products while strictly maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor blister packaging machines to ensure optimal performance and output.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards by performing regular checks during the packaging process and ensuring product integrity.
Compliance: Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting to resolve minor equipment issues and minimize production downtime.
Operational Efficiency: Work effectively within a fast-paced, shift-based production environment to meet manufacturing targets while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Pharmaceutical Technology. (Higher qualifications like BA/BSc/HND are also welcomed).
Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience operating packaging machinery, preferably within the pharmaceutical or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GMP and quality control procedures.
Skills: Basic mechanical troubleshooting and technical proficiency in packaging machinery.
Work Environment: Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, shift-based production setting.
