Job Description
Premier Hospital is an 82-bed specialized hospital located in Nyali, Mombasa, offering high-quality emergency, outpatient, and inpatient care. Our service delivery model is anchored on Compassion, Care, and Competence. We are looking for a passionate professional to join our dynamic team as a Biomedical Technician to help shape the future of healthcare. This role is essential for maintaining the hospital's specialized medical infrastructure and ensuring equipment is safe and functional for patient care.
Responsibilities
Ensure all biomedical equipment is functioning optimally through regular maintenance and repair.
Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on medical devices.
Calibrate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment to meet safety standards.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and coordinate repairs with external vendors where necessary.
Provide technical guidance to medical professionals on the proper use of specialized equipment.
Maintain detailed records of equipment servicing and compliance history.
Requirements
Education: BA/BSc/HND in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply as specific years of experience were not mandated in the posting.
