As a Biology/Chemistry Teacher at Talent Grid Africa, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, conducting safe laboratory practicals, and nurturing scientific curiosity under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Biology and Chemistry to secondary school students.
Plan and conduct safe and effective laboratory practicals and experiments.
Nurture scientific curiosity and critical thinking among students through inquiry-based learning.
Implement the CBC curriculum effectively within the classroom and laboratory environment.
Utilize digital teaching tools and modern pedagogical methods to enhance learning experiences.
Ensure a high standard of laboratory safety and equipment management at all times.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing necessary support and guidance for academic growth.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Biology/Chemistry.
Valid Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Registration is mandatory.
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the CBC curriculum framework.
Demonstrated competence in laboratory safety and practical experiment management.
Proficiency in digital teaching tools and educational technology.
