Job Description
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering an Industrial Attachment program for students specializing in Records Management. This program is designed to provide continuing undergraduate and diploma students with practical experience in revenue administration and organizational record-keeping systems within a government setting.
Responsibilities
While specific duties were not exhaustively listed, typical responsibilities for this role include:
Assisting in the filing, retrieval, and tracking of physical and digital records.
Supporting the indexing and classification of documents according to organizational standards.
Maintaining the security and confidentiality of sensitive government records.
Assisting in data entry and updating record-keeping systems.
Supporting the archiving and disposal processes of outdated documents in accordance with policy.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Should be a continuing undergraduate student (BA/BSc) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, OR a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University or College.
Must have a valid introduction/recommendation letter from the learning institution.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the program.
Important Information
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 will be paid to undergraduates and diploma students (subject to applicable statutory deductions).
Duration: The program lasts for three months and is not subject to extension.
Required Documents: If selected, candidates will need to provide proof of a valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, copies of KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
Selection: Only selected candidates will be contacted. KRA does not charge any fee for the application process.
