Role Overview
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering attachment opportunities for students specializing in Records & Archives. This program aims to provide students with practical industry experience and exposure to the operations of a national revenue collection agency. The attachment is a full-time, three-month program for continuing undergraduate and diploma students.
Requirements and Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Education Status: Must be a continuing 1st degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, or a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University or College.
Documentation: Candidates must possess a valid introduction letter from their University or College.
Availability: Applicants must be available full-time for the entire three-month duration of the program.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the systematic organization, filing, and retrieval of physical and digital records.
Support the archival process, including document cataloging and long-term preservation efforts.
Maintain and update records management systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Uphold the security and confidentiality of sensitive KRA records and information.
Help staff with record search requests and general information management.
Important Information
Duration: The program lasts for three months and is not subject to extension.
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 will be provided (subject to statutory deductions).
Selection Requirements: If selected, candidates will need to provide proof of valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, copies of KRA PIN, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, National ID card, and Bank Account details.
