Job Description
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering an industrial attachment program in Quantity Surveying for a duration of three months. This program is designed to provide continuing students with practical work experience in a professional environment, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge to real-world tasks within the Authority. Candidates will have the opportunity to gain insights into revenue collection operations and project management in a technical capacity. The program is specifically targeted at undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year and diploma students in their final year of study.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets.
Supporting the technical team in site measurements and valuations.
Assisting in the documentation and maintenance of construction project records.
Participating in site inspections and project monitoring activities.
Collaborating with various departments on facility management and property related tasks.
Requirements
Be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Should be a continuing 1st degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th and final year of study or a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University/College.
Should have a valid introduction letter from the University/College.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the program.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The Authority does not extend the Attachment Program.
Benefits
A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 (subject to applicable statutory deductions).
