Role Overview
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering a three-month Industrial Attachment program for Marketing and Communication students. This program is designed to provide continuing undergraduate and diploma students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills within a professional government environment. The attachment is available for a fixed duration of three months and is not subject to extension.
Responsibilities and Duties
While specific daily duties are assigned upon placement, interns in the Marketing & Communication department typically assist with:
Supporting the execution of corporate marketing campaigns and brand awareness initiatives.
Assisting in the creation and distribution of internal and external communication materials.
Monitoring social media channels and supporting digital content creation.
Providing administrative support during corporate events and public relations activities.
Maintaining department records and assisting with general office operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Education Status: Should be a continuing 1st degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, OR a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University or College.
Documentation: Must possess a valid introduction letter from the University or College.
Availability: Must be available full-time for the entire three-month duration of the program.
Additional Information
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 for undergraduates and diploma students will be provided, subject to applicable statutory deductions.
Duration: The program lasts for three months and is not extendable.
Mandatory Documents for Selected Candidates: If selected, candidates must submit proof of valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
