Job Description
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is providing industrial attachment opportunities for students pursuing degrees or diplomas in Hotel Management. This program is designed to offer practical experience and exposure to the corporate hospitality environment within the Authority for a duration of three months. It is an opportunity for students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting while developing professional skills and ethics.
Responsibilities
While specific daily duties are assigned upon placement, interns in the Hotel Management department typically assist with:
Supporting front office operations and guest relations.
Assisting in food and beverage preparation and service areas.
Supporting the coordination and setup of internal corporate events and meetings.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and service excellence as per KRA standards.
Assisting with housekeeping and facility maintenance protocols.
Requirements
Be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Be a continuing 1st degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, and final year of study OR a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University/College.
Should have a valid introduction letter from the University/College.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the program.
Important Information
Duration: The program is for three months and is not subject to extension.
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 will be paid (subject to statutory deductions).
Deadline: The application deadline is Friday, 6th March 2026.
Post-Selection Documents: Selected candidates will be required to submit proof of valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
