Job Description
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering an industrial attachment opportunity within its Food & Beverage department. This program aims to provide continuing undergraduate and diploma students with hands-on professional experience in the hospitality sector. The attachment is a full-time commitment for a fixed period of three months.
Responsibilities
Assisting in food preparation and beverage service within the Authority's facilities.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.
Providing quality customer service to staff and visitors.
Supporting inventory management and stock-taking activities.
Adhering to the Authority's operational procedures and hospitality standards.
Requirements
Be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Should be a continuing 1st degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, or a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University/College.
Possess a valid introduction letter from the University/College.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the program.
Additional Information
Monthly Stipend: KShs. 7,000 (subject to applicable statutory deductions).
Insurance: Selected candidates must provide proof of valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover.
Statutory Documents: Successful candidates will be required to submit copies of KRA PIN, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
Duration: The program lasts for three months and is not subject to extension.
Fees: The Authority does not charge any fee for the application or recruitment process.
