About the Role
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering an attachment opportunity within its Communications department. This program is designed for continuing undergraduate and diploma students who wish to gain practical work experience in a professional corporate environment. The attachment will last for a fixed period of three months and is aimed at providing students with exposure to the day-to-day operations of KRA's communication and public relations functions.
Responsibilities
While specific daily duties are assigned upon placement, interns in the Communications department typically assist with:
Drafting and proofreading internal and external communication materials such as newsletters, articles, and press releases.
Supporting the management of corporate social media accounts and digital communication platforms.
Assisting in the coordination of corporate events and media engagement activities.
Conducting media monitoring and assisting in the preparation of reports.
Collaborating with various teams to ensure consistency in corporate branding and messaging.
Requirements
Be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Should be a continuing 1st degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, and final year of study or a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University/College.
Should have a valid introduction letter from the University/College.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the program.

A Monthly Stipend of KShs. 7,000 for undergraduates and diploma students will be paid and is subject to applicable statutory deductions.
If selected, candidates will be required to submit proof of a valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, copies of KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
