Associate Professor Grade 14 (Human Anatomy)

Egerton University is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced academic for the position of Associate Professor Grade 14 in Human Anatomy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing academic leadership, conducting cutting-edge research, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.

Key Requirements and Academic Qualifications

• An earned PhD degree in Medicine or Master of Medicine with specialization in at least one of the following areas: Human Anatomy or any surgical discipline from a recognized University. The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship Training recognized by the Medical Council of Kenya.
• At least three (3) years teaching experience at the university as a Senior Lecturer or Senior Researcher.
• Evidence of publications in scholarly journals.
• Supervision of post-graduate students will be an added advantage.
• Have attracted research or development funds as a Senior Lecturer.
• Have registered with the relevant professional body.

Salary Scale

• Associate Professor Grade 14: Kshs. 193,182.00 – Kshs. 297,403.00
