Job Description
The Boma Hotels provides ultra-modern contemporary hospitality services. Our brand portfolio consists of properties under The Boma hotels namely Boma Nairobi, Boma Inn Nairobi, and Boma Inn Eldoret. The Assistant Reservations Manager is responsible for processing and managing room reservations accurately and efficiently across all booking channels while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Responsibilities
Process and manage room reservations accurately and efficiently through all booking channels.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate reservation records in the Property Management System (PMS).
Handle booking confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and guest inquiries professionally.
Support revenue optimization through effective upselling and rate management.
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a reputable hotel.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tours & Travel, Front Office Operations, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PMS (Opera or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
