Job Description
The Assistant Director Administration is a senior administrative role within the Isiolo County Government. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative functions, implementing policies, and facilitating effective service delivery within the county structures.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
Served for a cumulative period of eight (8) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Principal Administration Officer, or in a comparable position.
Bachelor degree in any of the following disciplines: – Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science/Government, Anthropology, Social Sciences or equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution.
Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science/Government, Anthropology, Social Sciences or equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution is an added advantage.
Senior management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised Institution.
Membership to a professional body where applicable.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Shown merit, integrity, and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
