The County Government of Kitui is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for the position of Artisan III (Plumbing). This role is focused on the technical installation, repair, and maintenance of water supply and drainage systems across county facilities, including hospitals, to ensure optimal sanitation and functionality.
Duties and Responsibilities
System Installation: Install, repair, and maintain water supply and drainage systems.
Sanitation Maintenance: Maintain hospital sanitation systems, sewer lines, septic tanks, and water tanks.
Fixture Repair: Repair and service bathroom fittings such as taps, sinks, and toilets.
Emergency Management: Promptly handle plumbing emergencies, including pipe bursts and leakages.
Requirements for Appointment
Must be a Citizen of Kenya.
Possession of a Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III/II/I in the area of specialization (Plumbing).
Certificate in Plumbing or such other qualification as may be approved, from a recognized institution.
