Responsibilities and Duties
Furniture Construction and Repair: Build and maintain wooden items such as office desks, benches, cabinets, doors, windows, and shelving units.
Healthcare Facility Maintenance: Install and maintain cabinetry specifically for hospital wards, pharmacies, and laboratories.
Equipment Maintenance: Repair specialized hospital equipment like beds and other essential wooden fittings.
Structural Assistance: Assist in the installation of notice boards, curtain rails, and the repair of ceilings.
Safety Compliance: Maintain and use carpentry tools, machinery, and fittings in accordance with safety standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a Citizen of Kenya.
Certifications: Possession of a Government Trade Test Certificate Grade I, II, or III in Carpentry/Joinery or a related area of specialization.
Education: A Certificate in Carpentry/Joinery or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of the safe operation of carpentry tools and fittings.
