Job Description
Nandi County, known as Kenya’s athletics hub and the 'home of champions', is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for the position of Administration Officer II (2 Posts). This role is vital for the efficient management of administrative functions, public participation, and service delivery at the county level.
Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitating fleet management within the department.
Planning office accommodation layout to ensure optimal space utilization.
Developing and updating inventory records for office equipment and furniture.
Facilitating the organization of meetings, conferences, and other special events.
Supervising general maintenance and repairs of buildings, furniture, and office equipment.
Processing and managing various administrative documents.
Supervising the provision of security and general office services.
Overseeing records management and messengerial services across various departments.
Handling and resolving public concerns and issues raised by citizens.
Facilitating citizen participation in development activities and governance.
Providing input into organizing public participation and awareness campaigns at the local level.
Collecting and collating data related to developmental activities within the county.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, candidates must possess:
A Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development, or any other Social Science from a recognized institution.
A certificate in computer application skills.
