ACTSERV is an actuarial consulting firm with over two decades of business visibility. We are seeking to recruit a proactive and driven Actuarial Assistant to join our team. The Assistant will support departmental initiatives and day-to-day operations, as they gain hands-on experience and receive mentorship and guidance from our experienced professionals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Support in a range of technical assignments.
Assist in the preparation of client reports and presentations.
Support client engagement and communication as required.
Provide administrative support to the actuarial team as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to support the execution of strategies.
Conduct research work and assist in thought leadership initiatives.
Maintain knowledge of current industry developments such as regulations, trends, and practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
A qualification, or ongoing pursuit of a qualification such as IFoA, SOA, CIFA, CFA, or equivalent (desired but not mandatory).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Commitment to professional values and integrity, self-driven, adaptable, willingness to learn, attention to detail, initiative, and ownership of work.
