We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. The role is central to maintaining the financial integrity of the hotel through meticulous record-keeping and timely settlement of obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Verification: Process and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy and legitimacy.
Vendor Management: Handle supplier/vendor payments and conduct regular supplier reconciliations.
Cash Management: Oversee petty cash management and bank reconciliations.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and track hotel expenses effectively.
Tax Compliance: Manage VAT and tax procedures, and ensure accurate filing of statutory deductions.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certification: CPA Part II or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounts payable, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, specifically MC (Materials Control), Sun System, and Opera PMS.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Accuracy: Proven ability to maintain high accuracy in financial records.
