As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounting and Finance Manager with essential bookkeeping and administrative functions. The role involves managing data entry, processing invoices, and ensuring financial records are accurately maintained and filed to support the organization's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry: Assist the Accounting & Finance Manager with routine data entry tasks for accounting and bookkeeping purposes.
Invoice Processing: Prepare and process invoices promptly, including all necessary copies and supporting documentation such as delivery notes.
Accuracy Verification: Verify the accuracy of billing information, specifically checking quantities and pricing to ensure correct financial recording.
Filing & Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all invoices and related documentation, ensuring all records are filed appropriately.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND in a relevant business or accounting field.
Professional Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar accounting support role.
Technical Proficiency: High level of proficiency in the use of computer software and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel).
Certification: Must possess a recognized professional accounting qualification.
