Role Overview
The Account Associate ensures that client satisfaction is maintained by strategically planning and providing day-to-day implementation and management of client projects. The Account Associate works closely with client contacts and agency team members to ensure that the client’s communications requirements are identified, and appropriate solutions are recommended, planned, budgeted, and implemented accordingly. The Account Associate collaboratively works with other teams to provide for services in public relations, advertising, and digital for client’s projects and assignments. This is an entry-level leadership role and requires a self-driven, strategic thinker who is energetic, creative, and insightful. This role also requires you to be enthusiastic and passionate about the marketing, advertising, and communication industry.
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation: Works collaboratively with the team to adhere to quality processes and standards to ensure client deliverables are achieved within various assigned projects.
Client Relations: Maintains rapport with clients with proactive foresight on client needs and potential opportunities, proposing creative solutions that meet their objectives.
Business Development: Contributes to the development of new business proposals and presentations, and participates in research activities in support of new business efforts.
Campaign Execution: Functions as a team player working collaboratively to execute client campaigns, ensuring creative output is of high quality and on strategy.
Content Management: Spearheads the development of content for dissemination on mainstream and digital media channels.
Stakeholder Engagement: Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as clients within their portfolio.
Skills & Competencies
Experienced in working across several projects simultaneously, able to multi-task and meet client deadlines by setting priorities and utilizing good judgment.
Strong skills in research and analysis as well as experience in developing communication strategies and execution plans, editorial content writing, digital strategies, and content plans.
High business acumen, adaptive, confident, and a strong team player with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to accurately develop and manage budgets and revenue targets.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: Over 5-7 years of full-time experience in public relations, account management, or client service (with at least 3 years of agency experience).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Communication, Marketing, or a similar field from a recognized institution.
Certifications: CPR / CIM, Customer Service, Marketing, or Project Management qualifications will be an added advantage.
