Role Overview
The County Assembly of Kiambu Service Board is seeking to recruit a Ward Office Assistant. This position serves as partisan staff, responsible for providing essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the ward office. The role involves managing daily office tasks, facilitating communication, and maintaining a professional environment for visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Clerical Tasks: Carry out various clerical duties, such as sorting, processing, and sending mail.
Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of office supplies and order new materials as needed to ensure continuous operations.
Visitor Relations: Welcome and assist visitors to the office in a professional manner.
Logistics and Messengerial Services: Undertake postage and messengerial services as required.
Office Maintenance: Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the office premises.
Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings and send out meeting invites to the appropriate attendees.
General Support: Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Member.
Requirements
Must be an adult Kenyan Citizen.
Must have basic Education (KCSE qualification).
